Ben Yay's in Alexandria is an absolute gem. The beignets are incredibly authentic—perfectly light, and fluffy, and honestly even better than the ones I've had in New Orleans. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the kindness shown to me. I arrived right after closing, and the owner graciously reopened just to offer me two beignets he had set aside for himself—and he wouldn't even accept payment. That level of thoughtfulness and generosity is rare. Thank you so much for your kindness. I will definitely be back very soon.
Went her on a cold rainy Saturday, as a quick date with the hubby! Had 2 orders of Original and 1 of Cinnamon with Strawberry, Raspberry & Vanilla dipping sauces. Absolutely delicious!! We will be back!!
Hands down the best beignets and coffee. The iced mocha was delicious and I should have ordered another one to go! The beignets were delicious and I enjoyed them plain. Quick service and friendly staff. There is a large sitting area in the back which was nice to sit and enjoy our yummy treats.
